forgot to remember which way the arrows on the carrier bearing go when taking it apart. Do they face forward or back towards end of truck? Can someone check?

I don't know and my truck doesn't have a center bearing being a regular cab.

    Here is carrier bearing

    image.jpg

It is the bearing that adds extra support to the drive shaft

Well you can either put them facing forwards or backwards on the driveshaft but when I took the old one off I forgot which way they were facing

Best advice I've seen on the Forum today.

Yep, my arrows point to the front as well.

Good morning, everything I've read, seen and talked about with those who know a lot more about it than I do say, "arrows should point towards the front of the vehicle". Unfortunately, the bearing I just bought doesn't have any arrows on it, argh... Not having any luck, so far, in determining which side faces the front.

@GT2000 If your old bearing has arrows, put the two side by side and look for any differences.

Yep, that's exactly what we did and there were a couple of small differences (just in the frame) and the determining factor was how that bolt hole was cut off center.

@GT2000 I think you thought I posted in your thread about the same question. I didn’t realize on time about your thread.
