Same here. See it as useful for those with the sports cars, but for occasional maintenance on the Tacoma, that's a steep price for admission. With my 3 inch lift I run a 6 ton with Safe jack extensions and stands. Only takes minutes to get the truck up and takes up little space in the garage. The jack and extensions stay in my recovery kit and work double duty off road.

Just a little help if anyone is interested. I've had mine for quite a few years. They don't get used often but when they do they are great. One issue with them is they are very heavy and hard to move around on a cement floor for positioning. I've had little luck in using the handle things they give to move them around. I have seen on Youtube and tried the casters zip tied to the frames to help move them. Didn't work great for me. What I did find that has worked in moving them with ease is to attach Azek PVC trim to the base of the lift. The material is available to fit the square tube perfectly. Cut 4 pieces to length and attach with contact cement. They help A LOT in moving on a cement floor. Have had no issue with lifting my Tacoma with this mod.

Same. The truck is a piece of cake to lift w/ a jack and drop it on stands. Probably the fastest route too unless you have a post lift in place. To make matters worse on the car, it doesn't have a center lift point. So trying to lift one corner at a time....it's awful.

This is good info, thanks! you have pics so of it? I read about the caster mod, but this sounds like a nice alternative too.

I had a set I bought specifically to work on this car.

They are heavy and a pain to move around.

When I sold the car, I sold the quick jacks.

Back to a hydraulic jack and stands for me.

Nice! I don't have mine yet to measure...what's the width of them? A couple inches?

The width is 1.5 inches. I think I used 1.5 X .25 thk AZEK and cut them to length (approx 4 feet for my QJ).

Running out of room though in this tiny ass garage....

And even less clearance under the rear of the car over the hydro lines.

I'm gonna have to cool down the car or disconnect those lines each time.
