Yes, exactly. I couldn't think of the word.
Not sure how the angle iron is mounted to the crash bar though

I've seen that thread but wasn't sure if I could use those type of mounts and have it work. Has anyone done it their self with these type of feet on the bar

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
You can do both, just slide the mounts till they line up with a hole if you use the angle aluminium that has the holes. or measure and drill holes to line up if you use solid angle iron.

Typically the hinged light bars like the one you posts hang further forward, as to the end mounted ones. You might have to trim some of the lower valance or cut it out, depending on how far forward the light sticks.

One inch square tubing is way better for this app. It's stronger, you can mount flat, and have less vibes. I have a 20" and two 8" in that spot that is rock solid.

10 min and 2 people. Didn't have to remove the front bumper. I wanted to see if it could be done without removing it.

Yeah, it's a bit cramped in there, but can be done with out removing the bumper, I did however pull the grill for a bit more access.

Mine is bolted directly to the crash bar on my truck. I removed the black part of the bumper for trimming, but left the rest of the bumper intact. I was able to get my drill in there to drill two pilot holes. If you have a 30" bar, you can use regular bolts and slide a box end wrench into the end of the crash bar to hold the nuts. If it's a smaller bar, you'll want to use self-tapping bolts because there are supports inside the bar that will prevent your wrench from getting in there.
