People talk about those shocks on occasion.

There are probably reviews of them too.

I've heard a lot about 5100s. Been reading and hearing a lot about 6112/5160 as well. Those seem to be better given the larger shock diameter. But that's just after seeing the displays they have at Rogue Offroad local to me.

That's the stuff. At the time, I paid $452 for the same.

I have not heard of those folks around here though? You might do some searching before buying.

Man that's cheap. Never heard of them though. I've seen on average $450 or so for front and rear from some of the more known guys. Maybe they're pricing low to get their foot in the door?

They’ve been around for some years based on my research. I’ve just never heard of them.

I see. I haven't heard of them either. One way to find out if its legit or not I suppose, is to just bite the bullet

They are. The application list on their site is 2005 to current.

From what I was told 2nd and 3rd gen shocks are the same. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Curious why some people get 5100's and pay for coils. I thought 5100's were meant for stock coils, and if you are replacing coils anyway why wouldn't you step up to 6112 for slightly more travel since you need to replace coils for those anyway.

    I reused the stockers.

I may go to longer OMEs someday on a lower circlip. Maybe.

    Completely happy for now.

You are correct these are intended for stock coils.
People pay to replace the coils because they have a higher load rating so you can install a front bumpers and winch.
The 5100's and the 6112 have the same amount of travel. (It wouldn't be good for the stock suspension to have more)
The 6112's are larger diameter to handle a higher rate of cycling of the suspension. (depends on your type of offroading)

YES! But you'll get less lift on the 3rd gen.

    That's a great price!
