Going to have my rig aligned and I have Fox 2.5s w/ Icon Delta Joint UCAs

The Accutune directions has this notation in the install sheet:

A MAJOR PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE OF ALL ICON UPPER CONTROL ARMS IS INCREASED CASTER OVER STOCK. DISCUSS WITH A PROFESSIONAL ALIGNMENT SHOP THAT YOU WANT THE VEHICLE ALIGNED WITH THE CASTER AT THE MAX OF THE FACTORY RECOMMENDED SETTINGS IF YOU WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DYNAMIC EFFECTS OF INCREASED CASTER.

Does anyone know the actual value of max caster, or will it just depend on the individual truck?

I plan to take it to the shop and give them these instructions (Basing this on searches I've done here on other alignment threads):

Spec Camber slightly negative to max of 0* and set caster at max of factory settings, then set toe to spec.

Just wanted to give them an actual value of caster is possible. Thx

What size tires are you running? Do you rub now?

FYI, The camber spec on our trucks is more biased to positive than negative

I have the same setup.. When I went to get it aligned I just dropped my truck off at the shop and asked the alignment tech to push the wheels as far forward as he could while keeping everything somewhat in spec, I'm on 35's so I wanted to eliminate hopefully rubbing the firewall which didn't happen. I can post my specs from my last alignment but as stated your tire size does play a role. I also don't really sweat this stuff cause I don't care but obviously there's a lot of folks here that do.

Also Accutune will soon be releasing their own UCA that will put the joint/spindle location back near the factory UCA location essentially moving the tires to the front and away from the cab mount/firewall since pretty much most other aftermarket UCA's slightly push the joint/spindle location back towards the cab mount/firewall in essence moving the tire back as well to get this "additional castor" angle.

This video gives some good info on Toyota alignments/UCA's an also shows the prototype Accutune UCA's and their advantage as they sent him one to review. There is certainly a lot of misconception with needing to run aftermarket UCA's for extended travel shocks and getting the "perfect" alignment. It's mostly all BS and is also covered in the same video.

Good info to know thanks, although with the coin I dropped on this setup, no real appetite to buy new UCAs at this time

What's the update of your caster? I do have the Icon billet arm UCA and Fox 2.5 shocks. I'm having issue with Toyota dealership unable to increase caster despite having aftermarket UCA. I'm trying to get 4.0 positive caster on it. Currently mine is 1.5 positive caster and tires where rubbing on my fender well.
