Just curious if these fj rims are the same offset/backspacing as our stock first gen rims. I "think" they are the same offset as our stockers at +15mm. I have 265/70/16 on general grabbers and sometimes I rub when backing out of my driveway (small decline). Just want to make sure that they are exactly like our first gen rims and not pulled in more like the 2nd gens... (which would lead to even more rubbing) Not sure of backspacing either. Any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks

look at the stickies, there is a thread that tells you all about what size the rims are and what rims will fit your truck

Don't worry so much about the offset, look at the back spacing anything more than the stock 4.5 backspacing will create problems with the UCA.

thanks, i know they will fit, but just want to make sure the offset and backspacing is the same. I cant afford to have the +30mm like the 2nd gen rims cause my tires will rub...

Maybe someone in the fj section on here will know the true specs.

Thanks alot for the info. Aren't our first gen wheels 16x7 with +15mm offset too? IF thats the case, wouldn't they be the same backspacing also?

thanks man, im pretty sure the fj's and ours are the same too. The rims are stamped "J 16x7 j 15". Im thinking that means they are definitely +15offset too. These probably are exactly like our stockers. I ended up buying them so we'll see. I wish more people on here had them on to be sure. If that page with the offset/backspace calculator is correct, these will be exactly like ours.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
They fit, but the clearance is close, small amount of rubbing full lock...it is best to run Bora .75" hubcentric spacers to get the backspace back to around 4.5 or so and get rid of the minor rubbing...

I am running a set and Bora's is how I know...

Update... just put them on yesterday. Rims are perfect and the sizing (backspacing/offset) is the exact same as the stock rims.
