Quick question about tacoma buy

New on here but love Tacos im probably gonna have my man card taken away but I've never owned a truck. Anyways I've been trying to figure out which one 2 buy I know my username says 2015 pro series(gonna have to change it) but I figured out that I don't have to buy that truck when I want to mod and lift if I wanna save some bucks. But I was wondering if any of you really needed a rear locking differential or should I go plain Jane and go from there?

 

The trd off road had lockers in the rear. Then up to you if you want 4x4 or not. But yes. You can save big money when buying something stock and converting everything yourself. I'm sure king or icons suspension are way better than the ones that come from the pro series
