I'm in the process of cutting my grill to do a satoshi. My question is does the mesh or grillcraft curve any or does it sit in from the back straight? Thanks for the help

Just did mine last week....I used a grillcraft and it does curve a little in both directions. Its rolled outward in all directions from the center.

ya it does not sit flush. Which bugs me a lot! If you buy the grillcraft grill I would suggest only using it to put it on the front of the grill...like how it is meant to be put on. I mean...I've had the grillcraft on my truck for almost a year now and I did the satoshi mod and it hasn't come off, nor does it even look un-even at all, but if you're one of those guys where something little can bug the shit out of you I would suggest just getting the grill from customcargrills.com. my .02

My satoshi turned out great you just have to get it to pull tightly against all edges, especially the bottom corners. Search and you will find several ways to do this.

I kinda figured that it would have to be pulled tight on all the edges, especially in the middle where the deepest curve is. I have already fabbed up my grill to go in and was just curious how it would sit in there. Thanks for all the answers.
