Quick question: Brightest street legal bulb for 1st gen headlights?

    Philips Racing Vision has the best H4 low beam performance. +200 has 2x the life of the +150 and just an extremely minor performance hit for a few percentage points. However high beam performance is negatively impacted by the blue coating over the high beam filament. Tungsram Nighthawk Xenon +120 has the best low beam performance without coating the high beam, meaning better high beam performance than the Philips, but the low beam is not as strong.     Edit: Note Tungsram bought out GE, so anything labeled as GE is now Tungsram.

    Too bright ?? Let oncoming traffic be the judge. If oncoming traffic "flashes" their lights at you to turn off high beams when they are on low ... and you know the beams to be in adjustment ... I'll let you finish where I am going with this.
