Red, 4 door, sport, prerunner. 44k mikes, 2007. Dealer is asking 21, would 19 out the door be a fair price to throw at him?

I just did some real quick research and it looks like even $19 is a bit high.

According to Edmunds, based off of your zip code (Petaluma), the Dealer Retail value is $19,815. I price it with all of the options that come with a TRD Sport and listed it as "Clean" condition.

I would go into it offering $18,000...but then again...I tend to low ball and pressure the hell out of the dealer. The worst they can say is no...

dont forget he said 19 OTD. but i do agree with you, if you are comfortable paying 19 OTD, offer lower like 17 or 18 OTD then when they come back with a counter offer both parties will get the deal. (not that im trying to help the dealer)

    Good point.

    OP,

Remember, they are there for you, you are not there for them! :p

Not at all. Def use that line and watch the general sales managers jaw drop. Then say something like this, "I'm not going to let you give me a reach around without using some lube first". It's a buyers market, help me help you. The mark up on these trucks are insane. So be patient and trust me they will come calling you for your business. Good luck!!

I think thats a fair price...just find like dents and scratches and just anything you can say is an "eyesore" for you..they can either fix it or just give you the amount off..It worked when i went with a friend to buy his used taco..good luck OP
