Quick question

im looking at retrofitting headlights for the very first time and I’m a super amateur with lighting I’ve got a 2007 taco and started looking at parts last week. I could get the answer to my question by looking around on TW but how the hell do y’all know what ballast you need. I was on flame custom and there were 5-6 different options. Im lost. Some kinda brief explanation would help. Much appreciated!

I second this. I tried retrofits. Returned the housings to stock and did this upgrade after the HID ballasts took a crap on me.

 

Hmmm I’ll look into this. Seems like he got the cutoff and glare controlled pretty well with that set up. I watched this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Na5xTO8Vigw&t=936s and liked the projector output a lot
