Quick Release And Keeping Cruise Control?

    Hey y’all. I have a 2000 5 speed tacoma and am adding a quick release steering wheel. I’ve seen one video where a guy was able to keep his cruise control and horn, however he mentioned a 2000s model Lexus IS300 clock spring would work on the 1st gens because the factory clockspring will hit against the base hun. llow you to keep your horn, cruise control, and turn signal clock if you installed the Lexus clockspring with a “pin out” process. I’m assuming he means re-pinning it however would appreciate clarification. Also if anyone knows if that swap would work? I have everything to install however if anyone has any tips or done this I would appreciate advice!
