I would like to make the jump. Already running 33s" with no real rubbing issues, stock gears. From what I can gather if I do a moderate amount of wheeling, about a 5-6 on the 10pt scale, I should probably regear. I am the original owner, so I know I have 3.73s. I think 4.88 would be more than I need. I haven't seen many guys talk about about a 4.27 ratio but I'm open if anyone has some incite. But, I'm thinking 4.56?

I've put eyes on the calculator and 4.27 and 4.56 fall in the green.

    Questions
    - What are some good brands to go with?
    - gear setting between stock and 4.56?
    - shops near me? I live in Vegas.
    - any foreseen rubbing issues? (I plan on just taking the front fender molding off to start)

    Already done
    - Mild cabmount chop
    - TC UCA
    - OME 3" lift w/885, Dakars in the rear
    - 1" body lift
    - American Racing Mojave 17x8s, with (i believe) 0 offset
    - Relentless Aluminum front bumper

Here's a quick idea of what I'm working with.

Yeah, why are you going up? That looks pretty good to me. Old ones getting bald?

Yeah the tread is getting low, a little tire rot as well. They've been on my truck for a long time. I just really want 35s lol. I get pretty bad gas milage with stock gears and 33s... Lower than a lot of other guys claim they get with similar setups. So I don't think gas milage will get much worse... Maybe a little better once I get back in the right power band.

I probably get less than 14mpg - FYI

I have 35s too. I bought a cheap set on craigslist and spent a day smashing the pinch weld and cab mount chop. I've seen 35" spares that were almost bald for $40. Just buy that and mount it to a spare and see what needs to be done I guess.
