Likely not, this is a feature move to get more five foot two Ashely and Katie to look at buying a Tacoma. I full expect the next Tacoma commercial to have Toyota Jan basting through a Forever21 parking lot listening to Wide Awake by Katy Perry

I've had zero issues with driving my F150 with rear disc brakes through mud, salt spray, snow, cow piss, patties and a host of other crap.

Your wheels would have seized, or your brake pads worn down to nothing on these roads. Picture driving through wet concrete for 8 days. I had no clearance left between my drums and my wheels. Toyota knows how to build a tough truck. Drum bakes are part of that equation.

Lol! Don’t worry, one day you’ll be able to get an 80 all your own. No reason to be that way.

I would disagree, from my experience.

3 different vehicles on a trip with rear disk, including a LX470 & GX470 and a week in mud and zero problems, see pictures, mud on my trailer and a rear GX wheel.

Had a 2002 Tacoma DC and after one muddying, had to take the rears apart and clean them because of mud, grinding noise.

Same here, brother. I don’t get how people make it look so hard to get in and out. I’ve been in Tacos for quite some time as well and I actually first started buying them because it was so easy to get in to. I just transfer straight over into the seat. Heck, maybe my posture is bad but I never sit up as straight as that guy in the video did to make his point. I would take the power seat for sure but had rather have it for other adjustments (angle the front up just a smidge). The height is fine for me. Sure, I’d take a bit more headroom but I’m good - no complaints about getting in and out. I’m 6’ and weigh about 178.

Right, I have never had any issue getting in or out, I'm 5'-10" and it seems damn near perfect height. I personally would not mind a power seat, not so much because its power but because the extra adjustability would be nice for fine tuning the seating position.

Nice review. Were there memory seat buttons?

What part confused you? The Tacoma is a relatively large vehicle, and the interior cabin is micro.

I am 5’9”” or whatever the incorrect system is equivalent to 176cm. Slept in the back of access cab many times comfortable, the cab space is huuuuge. Fits 3 people easy and comfortable too.

What tacoma needs is to get smaller, not bigger.

Yes, this is important along with auto pull back when turning the ignition off to allow for easy entry and exit. Wife's Avalon has his and I really like it.

Also, I'm only 5'8" and I have no issues going in and out or sitting in my 2019. No moon roof but I do have some spacers on the rear seat brackets. A person's height is not the only thing that contributes to the head room. If you've got a long torso and shorter legs this will exasperate the situation because not only does your head tend to go higher, shorter legs means you need to have the seat more forward which adds to the entry exit issues.

I'd love power seats with the aforementioned memory functions, and might pay a bit to have one retrofitted in my 2019 if it could be done and look OEM.

BTW, I need to duck my head getting in and out of the Avalon even with the seat retracted all the way back.

I don't think that at all, that's why the HUH?? Never had an issue. Guess if there's something to bitch about, we can fund it here.
