What temp thermostat in the 3rd gen?

Little help needed, thought I would start by asking in this thread. 2017 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD, V6, Manual Trans. My truck just crossed the bumper to bumper warranty (36K miles) and my thermostat needs to be replaced (stuck open). Looked online for a replacement (AUTO ZONE, Etc) no one has just a thermostat? Called my dealer, and they said I needed to order the whole assembly, (special order) but there are two versions. One for trucks with factory towing, and one for trucks without. I gave them my VIN and they said I needed the one without... Problem is my truck has the towing package??? My question is, I can see the assembly, but how visually can I tell which one is which. Thanks in advance.

 

The thermostat is integrated into the water neck.

The towing package is different for the manual transmission because you don't need a transmission cooler. Probably that means the cooling system is identical to a manual trans tacoma without the towing package.

I'd trust the dealer to get you the right part. That being said you could always go and read the part number of what you've already got.
