    Hi

I have a 99 tacoma sr5 2.7liter that I bought used. It has what looks like oem wheels with 31-10.5-15 tires. I need new tires and the door says it calls for 225-75-15's. they look a little small so I am looking at going with 235-75-15's.

My question is will they work on the wheels?

    Thanks

    Mark

Thanks so much... I have this truck in Belize and getting reliable info here is next to impossible... If I go back to the recommend size ( or real close to it) what performance changes will I see.

I have noticed with the 31-10.5's that I have to downshift uphill quite often....

Tire rack shows that the 31-10.5's were used on some 1999's. I am guessing they went on the 6 cyl's...
