Well it was a reddish/orange with that black Linex Overland trim when I bought it for my 2016 MGM that got totaled by Harvey. So bought a 2017 QS and had the Overland cap painted with the sun resistant Linex, I think for $625 out the door. They put on like 2 coats to even out the existing Linex. That stuff is bullet proof, tough.
You can actually order the ARE Overland with it being completely painted in Linex....might be cheaper that way.
I paid about $3200 with all the Overland options, carpeted cap, Windoors on each side, center window between cab sliding window/drop down, roof tracks for racks, and LED lighting above the Windoors.

I just bought a pair of Method NV 17x8.5 along with Falken Wildpeak AT/3 (265/70/17) and was hoping there will be no rubbing at all. Ive been doing my research and half say they do rub and others say they don't with 265 on stock suspension. Well I'm hoping they don't but ill find out this week when I finally put them in!:welder:

That's the exact setup I have. They will not rub if you take the (front) mud flaps off.

I find matching color toppers make a Taco look like a whale, or an extra long SUV. Not flattering in my opinion.

But I would rock this one in a heartbeat....

A Grandpa thing? Well, don't know about that. But then again, I am a grandpa, so maybe I shouldn't opine. But I will anyway. :D

Not a quicksand matched topper, but a topper on quicksand.

Nothing about this says "grandpa" to me, unless grandpa liked getting out in the sticks, having adeventures, and doing things!

My old lady don't like it. Thought the trucked looked "cute" the way it was. Said it looks like a creeper mobile with it. Whatever. She has her vehicle, I have mine.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Yeah, truck looked less utilitarian without it, and looked nice. But I bought it to do shit with, not look at. The topper fills a huge need, so it is staying. As the old man used to say "form follows function".
