    Second this tire 265/75/16
Just put these on. Very quiet, reviews great for total miles and I can verify no loss in gas mileage. I like these so much better than the stock kevlars that grabbed every grove in the road.

I have a set of 255 85 R16 Cooper St Maxx tires. Quiet when I got them, they get much noisier as they wear. I've got about 40K on them now. The last 20,000 miles of noise have had me wanting to replace them early. If noise is a concern, look elsewhere.

My next set will be the Firestone destination A/T. They look like a great all season tire - smooth and quiet. I do lots of highway driving with my new job but still take my Tacoma out on weekend on trails ect.

Priced them out- really reasonable cost too. My dad runs the AT adventure on his Tacoma and they were $300 more for the set

I replaced the stock tires on my 17' dcsb OR with general grabber at2 245/75-16's, they're the same height as stock and seem pretty quiet so far. Lighter than the ko2's but also not as strong, hopefully they'll be fine for my use.

In standard load or E load tires? I'm thinking about getting a set of these. Thanks for the info.

I was looking at that size cooper but a different model tire. I am set on this size but looking for a light weight option, C rated in this size is nearly impossible to find. I think it was just the max version as it comes in at a much lower weight. Are you running this 255/85/16 on a 3rd gen, is it an auto, how is the drive ability without regearing?

    Thank you

I agree. I have the same tire and it handles well on the road, snow, and dirt. The tire is very quiet.

Edit: forgot to add I'm running 285/70R17.

Michelin LTX M/S - great quality tire that will last a long time and is very quiet.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T - good tire, quiet, but I found them to be a little stiff.

I have General Grabber AT2s. Pretty quiet to me. We have duratracs on our work vehicles and those seem a bit louder. Although they are on a 2nd gen so it's not quite apples to apples.

Duratrac suck ass! I've own both C and E load and they are not quite. I had nothing but problem with balance issue. Shop replaced both sets of tires twice and still couldn't get it to balanced correctly. I end up with big ko2 with my 3rd Gen taco and it runs like butter. Of course not better then the original GY Adventure but what more can you expect with more agressive thread and E load. :)

Falken Wildpeak A/T3w. I have these on right now in P285/70/17, very quiet and great in any terrain. They also have an LT if need be but the P rated are more than enough on these trucks in my opinion.

I second this. I don't think there's a better AT tire made in terms of quietness, smooth ride, and mudding ablity. Oh, and they last a LONG time.
