Dude you are sooo wrong. I'm new to TW, because I've spent many years on Tundra Solutions. Now that I'm in the market for a Tacoma, i've opened an account here.
I am really glad that guys are posting about their issues, because a lot are serious issues. Call it bitching if you want, but it is way more than that. These guys are looking for solutions for problems that are a big deal. I want a Tacoma in the worst way, so I really appreciate these "bitching" post.
That is a huge reason that these sites exist.

If it bothers you so much,,, why do you click on the link and read the problems? Stop reading the post, then giving guys your UN needed opinion.

I am a member of forums for every vehicle and motorcycle that I own. Mostly to find solutions for known problem

Interesting. I came from Subarus for the last 10 years and absolutely have zero complaints aside from the fact that if you look at the car wrong the paint chips. Immediately thought the paint on the Tacoma was a step above Subaru. Do yourself a favor when you get home. Clay bar the entire truck and pop two coats of wax on that thing and you'll be golden. Repeat the clay bar and wax every year if you're neurotic, every two years if you're not and you'll be pretty stoked 10 years down the line when your truck still looks great.

 

I'm going to try to leave it alone for 3 yrs while it's under warranty. But once it's paid off in a couple years and out of warranty I can see some new bumpers winch lift and tires.
I said this with my rubicon though and within 6 months I had dumped $10k into parts lol
