Ah yes. You let the magic smoke out.

Why don't you stop and think of the consequences of such actions prior to the event unfolding? You seem to lack that mechanism.

I guess the manufacturer should change the label to specify that rocks should not be blended on the liquify setting. :D

I'm so glad I'm not reading this at work.... haven't laughed so hard in days....

Chris, one point would be if it DOESN'T say it can cook, chop, or grind XX on the label it's probably not made for that.

If you need to use a pan again for something for which it's not designed, line the pan with aluminum foil first.

I'm speechless. Your handling of the situation was flawless. That is, it was flawless after the whole bondo-in-the-frying-pan thing.

My husband used my crock pot to 'simmer' some parts in it.

Apparently, R/C airplane engines get really clean when you immerse them in warmed anti-freeze for a period of time.

I guess he didn't have time to run down to the store and buy the cheapest piece of crap crock pot there was....

I used to use my oven all the time for engine parts.....When my Wife moved in with me, she said "Some things are gonna change"....I should ask her about that. :D

Now what fun would that be? One of the things my Wife said she was attracted to in me was my spontinaeity......I wonder if she still feels the same.....
