I included the Quote. So people could read specifics. I’m waiting on a second from a local shop. The quote includes installing the Fox shocks in the front and rear (gonna set them anywhere from 2-2.5in), alignment, and Cmc, along w a post check of everything after 500 miles I guess for warranty purposes. All in All I’m quoted at 3k plus tax.

Reasonable? I want the truck humming so I think im going to install the UCAs as well so that’s gonna add to it. No need to AAL or new leaf pack as I’m not hauling or towing and if anything I’ll do that later. The rear shocks are fine for now. I originally was gonna do the Bilstein 5100 but I want a progressive shock and I was between eibach and fox. He quoted me both around the same price. Eibach about 300$ less. I started out only wanting new wheels, idk how I ended up here. But here I am....

(cmc is accounting for about $500 of the quote)

You could get Kings, SPC UCA’s and a CMC for that price and do the install yourself. I wouldn’t do it, those fox run 1100 shipped. So he’s charging you 2100 for labor. Just my two cents.

@AntMan408 yea I knew cost of parts but labor I was unsure of. Had a first gen stock my whole lift just got my new 2020 dream truck. Never had to price this out before. Nor am I aware of the amount of hours something like this takes. Unfortunately installing it myself is not an option. I am blessed w certain skill sets But patience and mechanics is not one of them. And it looks like about $1800
In labor for the lift install and cmc and alignment. I wasn’t including tax in what he was taking in labor wise.

    A few things to consider:
-2.0 IFP shocks are the least expensive most entry level shock from Fox. Don't expect a huge ride quality change. Lift height on those 2.0 IFP Coilovers are rated 0-2" of lift, so you will not get that 2-2.5" of height you want. Even at 2" max, it wont be an ideal ride height. See our new article for some details on that
-Those front coilovers are about $1,000 for the pair. Rears are about $340/pair. So roughly $1400 for shocks and cab mount. $1600 in labor to install shocks, cab mount chop and alignment... yea I would say thats a little pricey.
-A little odd the invoice doesnt have line items for each charge

    ...stuff
how is 2” of lift not an ideal ride height? I read the article but didn’t quite understand that statement.

Basically these coilovers are given a height range like 0-2" lift. Although that 2" is very possible to achieve, it's not ideal because the shock will be very close to being "topped out" at ride height. When the coilover is set too tall, it will very quickly become fully extended on small speed bumps and even worse off-road. Based on the shocks compressed & extended lengths, we have found that just under the max height is ideal for the best amount of up/down travel. If you're not planning on going off-road much, this wont be too much of an issue.
