Ok so we got to do do some serious testing yesterday. I picked up the rear bumpstop's from Curtis and they had just come out of the die . They are beautiful to me . Here is a comparison picture next to stock .IMG_20180907_152458543.jpg
    IMG_20180907_153031124.jpg
The stock stop is rock hard . Rock hard is good but not in a bump stop.

Installation is a snap. Jack the truck up, pull the tire off unbolt the four ubolt spring seat assembly
    Screenshot_20180909-184015.jpg

Remove the stock bompstop and replace it with the toyotabumpstops rear bump stop. IMG_20180907_153756659.jpg

Bolt the ubolts back on 37foot pounds of torque and check after 100 miles .
Now don't get upset at me but if you don't know enough to chalk the wheels and put a jack stand under the rear axle while doing this you shouldn't be doing it .

The end result is very nice. Screenshot_20180909-185321.jpg

I did high speed runs and medium speed jumps and I was giggling like a schoolgirl. We could see the rear bump stop on the GoPro hit but could not feel it hitting or bottoming out. If you saw the link I posted early you saw the pictures of the test runs of the front bump stops . Allot of "Hold my Beer" moments . I ran the route in reverse so look at my rear. There are no tires touching dirt . There was a lot of that going on that day . Screenshot_20180908-193305.jpg

And yes I found the mud in the desert.

I can't say enough about these bumpstop's front and rear. I know they were making contact cuz I could see it on the GoPro but I could not feel it .

I am using the bump stops for 2 inch lift Curtis has made them for stock height 2-inch 3-inch lift and I think he's also working on long travel.
Full disclosure here. Since I was the guinea pig Curtis gave me the front and rear bump stops to test for free. If he asked me to pay for them now I would gladly give him the money for it they're well worth it and I plan on buying another set here in about 2 weeks for my next build.
    @Plastics Guy testing his bumpstop'sScreenshot_20180908-192114.jpg

It was 102 degrees yesterday during testing not enough water or beer could be consumed to stay cool in that inferno that we know as home. It was great to see old friends and meet new friends. I had a great time and good memories where made.

Curtis thank you for making a great product and letting me be part of the research and development for it as I'm sure all the other guys and gals that came out to test are also very glad that they had a part in this.

That particular bump stop is 4.25" tall and compresses to about 3.5" under hard hits. it is intended to be used with truck that have a 2"+ rear lift and can accommodate a shock length of +1"

I also have a 3.5" bump stop for stock height truck or mild lifts that will compress to about 2.5" under hard hits.

Very cool. I was going to ask about the compressed height. Should work well. Looking forward to the final product!

Can these be used on a u-bolt flipped setup?

They would have to mount to a top plate like this.

There are two ways to mount my bump stops to your existing flip plate.

    1. weld the provided bump stop mounting plate to your flip plate.
    2. drill 2 holes and bolt bump stop to your flip plate. No threading needed.

I also have my own flip plates on occasion... I say on occasion because I cant seem to keep them in stock :annoyed:

No, that would interfere with the leaf spring center pin on most trucks. That is why there is a center hole on the flip plates, To allow clearance for the center pin.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Hold up. Were saying these are good enough to jump with?
