Alright, I went back through and read all our messages. You are 100% correct that my price for my flip kits was lower when we began talking. I have been trying to have my price increased for over 2 weeks and it just happened to work out that the price was raised in the middle of our discussion. The price was not raised on you just so I could make an extra buck, about a month ago my price of steel went up and I've been trying to have my price adjusted on the website ever since. I've just been eating the price difference for everyone that purchased a flip kit until the price adjustment. My flip kits are all steel, so I'm at the mercy of the market.

I do want to say (partially in my defense o_O) that I have been talking with at-least a dozen customers a day and it is difficult to remember each conversation or to jump around between Social Media, forums and website looking for information to continue the conversation. I'm not making any excuse I just want to try to explain my side a little so you don't think I'm a complete Jackass... I'm not social media material, I make bump stops...

I can definitely see myself late at night going through all my messages trying to stay caught up and reading another message for a discount and not realizing you had a legitimate issue. I talk with so many people now my IG account looks like a teenage girls. I love it for business, but its embarrassing as a man... lol

    Your good my Man,

No worries; having been in both big and small businesses, I totally get it. I also received your email (and sent you one in return).

My truck is pretty tippy on skinny tires, almost 3" of lift and no front sway bar. I installed these bump stops last night and less than 12 hours later I put them to the ultimate test. I was running a little late to work this morning and absentmindedly driving 75-ish MPH on the freeway when a truck abruptly came into my lane with no warning. I had to yank a VERY hard left on my steering wheel to avoid a collision, there was minimal body lean and suspension recoil, and it felt very stable and predictable correcting out of the panic maneuver.

On my way home from work, I have to take an eastbound to southbound interchange that's covered in bumpy-ass expansion joints. I usually have to slow down, piss off everyone behind me, and every expansion joint would make my suspension undulate 2 or 3 times. Today when I hit the interchange, I didn't have to touch my brakes and there was zero drama hitting expansion joints on a turn at freeway speeds.

Long story short, I'm beyond impressed with these new bumps and I can't wait to try them out OFF of the pavement.

When I went to install mine, the welded nut on the inside of my drivers side LCA (that the bump stop threads into) broke off...something to be aware of. I ended up JB welding the new bump stop directly to the LCA, expecting that it would likely break/fall off at some point but to my surprise its stayed firmly in place for the past several months. Done quite a bit of wheeling too.

Have some JB weld on hand just in case lol

The weld nut on my driver's side spun loose as well. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the LCA and put a flare nut on the supplied bolt. It takes an M10X1.25. Fastenal didn't have that size but Home Depot did.

I'm lucky to have a Cali truck, mine came off with ease.

I have a CA truck too lol and only 65k miles on it at the time, no rust whatsoever. Just an old weld nut that was tired and decided to break I suppose

...also I'm sure my stock bumps saw quite a bit of abuse and that may have had something to do with it

Not a speck of rust on my truck and low mileage too, but I suspect the weld nut probably took a beating from a few hard stock bump stop hits and was compromised. At any rate, it's probably best to do what @DJB1 did and drill into the LCA and fix it that way. I don't know how long my JB weld solution will hold up

Yeah it happens. I've worked on cars that were pretty much still new & have ran into similar issues.

Could be but same here, hence my cracked shock towers & these pinched bumps.

Just woke up, was super tired from yesterdays tundra brake/coilover install. Letting the dogs stretch before heading to home depot.
