I just went back and double checked and didn’t receive anything. I have also attempted to contact them on the website and through a PM. So far no response. Not worried yet, but getting there.

It's probably just because they're slammed. I'd hold off on the worry unless no one hears anything by the new year.

I ordered mine on the 22nd and PM @Plastics Guy on the 1st haven’t had a response yet. I’m guessing they are just busy.

    Hello Guys!!

I am so sorry for the really slow response. I am still here and not going anywhere. I have been so incredibly fortunate to have all the support and help spreading the word about Durobumps and it looks like we are going from a part time side business to full boat production. I recently have hired help to better accommodate the order volume. 6 months ago when we first started up on the forums we would ship a few dozen bump stops a month, now we are shipping hundreds of sets every month. The growth has been tremendous and overwhelming. I never expected this to take off like it has and it has caused some unforeseen issues like my lack of ability to communicate with everyone on a more one on one basis which I much prefer and miss.

As some of you personally experienced first hand, I have not been available for the past month or so. I have been buried in orders and doing my best to sort through ALL of the website problems so that the checkout is a smoother experience (I make bump stops, not websites so its been difficult) . I am still struggling with the automated followup email that lets the customer know the order has been received, some emails make it out without a problem, some end up in spam box's and others end up in oblivion.

When I first started offering these bump stops I did not take into account all the communication that would be required between the customers. I literally receive dozens of messages via IG, FB, email and forums a day and I was doing my best to stay caught up but things got tight and I have since hired help. I am just like many of you and would feel concerned as well providing I was in the same position. Just want to write this quick message to you guys to try to explain whats been going on and to let everyone know I hear you and completely understand.

@zero4 This is the first time I've heard of your failure. Did you write me an email at info@toyotabumpstops.com? I agree with you that you should not have had a failure, BUT I do not believe the failure was caused by a poor performing part, The failure happened because you "out drove" what your existing suspension setup could handle. This is a well known issue with these bump stops. Once installed the bump stops make everything feel smoother and more stable. The rubber bump stops made up for the lack of shock dampening and caused it to exceed the intended load. I believe if you had a leaf pack and shock setup that was setup and valved for harder whoops and higher trail speed the bump stop would not have failed (As a side effect though your low speed trails would be stiff and unpleasant). Its all the balancing act. I specifically designed Durobumps for lower speed applications as most off road guys are into trail runs and the faster guys typically go with Gas bump stops to better handle the faster stuff.
I'd be more than happy to work with you and send out another set of bump stops to you. Send me a message and Ill take care of you. Perhaps you would be better suited with one of my "Race" version rear bump stops that are designed for higher speed applications (but as a byproduct are much stiffer and suck on low speed trails = Stiff). Either way I certainly don't want you to feel that you have purchased an inferior product and wasted your money. I may not offer a lifetime warranty on my bump stops but I 100% stand behind my product. You are not going to be left with a part you cant use, and the very least I can give you a refund that you can use towards a product that you feel will best suit your needs. Shoot me a message and lets talk, I'd like to work this out and make sure you are taken care of.

Solid business practice. Thanks for checking back in with us. Hope you can look at the increased work load as fortunate and not just stressful.

Thank you for getting back to me. I did not send an email, only posted in this thread. PM on the way. I'm interested in trying the "race" version you speak of.

Thank you @zero4 for sending me the PM. I appreciate the opportunity to make this right. It looks like I may have had a failure in my manufacturing process OR I just found a new BETA TESTER!!!

lately I find myself apologizing often for delayed response time but here on TW for some reason I have not been receiving my notifications that there has been a post on my thread. On my end it looked like its been crickets on here for a few weeks until I started browsing this morning. So I'm not taking all the blame on this one... TW is sharing half the blame with me!

I've noticed this as well with threads that I participate the most in...often it'll unsub me and I never really understood why.
