I'm still waiting to hear back from Rad too. I paid him about 7 months ago for my headlights and recieved them a few months ago, and I haven't had high beams ever since the install. Also, one of the projectors must not be mounted very well because I get some bouncing while driving on the passenger side. I've thoroughly checked everything I can and been in email with him, but I never get any real answers from him. I really just want a set of working headlights!

Double check your solenoid wires? Take a 9v and see if you can hear the solenoid activating

I have checked that on both sides and still nothing. In fact I believe you are the person who walked me through a lot of the troubleshooting lol. I am getting the voltage at my factory plug when I engage highs, but it's like the high beam solenoids inside both projectors are dead.

I remember helping someone with their solenoid problem, but I've helped a ton of people  lol

One more thing, check the high beam wire on your motocontrol harness. You are getting voltage to your oem harness, but what about the motocontrol one?

The one your high beam wire is connected to high beam. Should be labeled as "high beam" on the wire harness

I'll check it out later today. Is it the one that plugs into the plug coming out of the side of the headlight that Rechelon added? One red wire and on black wire coming out of the headlight and has epoxy around it to seal the headlight?

Does anyone have another way to get in touch with Burt or RAD? I still haven't gotten any replies to my emails or pm's for a month now, ever since I made a paypal payment.

    Thx

It'll have 9006 female connector that plugs into your 9006 male connector coming out of your projector

I believe this is what you are asking about. It is coming from the morimoto harness. It should .18V on low beams and then 11.61V when I turn on highs, but yet the headlight does nothing with them plugged in in either orientation.

Hay James, sorry fro the delay in response. I've been inactive on TW due to handling my other work load. However all orders are being worked on. I just flew back up to Portland late Wednesday evening and we're back into the swing of things. Burt is fine and while I was gone handling much needed work, communication does happen but at a slower rate.

I am back and getting all committed orders done. . .

Did you tighten the 10mm bolt to the bumper support for the light as I can't see how the projector can bounce. The lights are screwed/epoxied into place very well. We do a stress/pressure test for the shroud & projector once its cured into the bowl. So I am looking to trouble shoot with you on that issue you're having as I know you've been going back and forth with Burt on the high beam issue. We're looking to help fix this issue wit you Sam.

    Kind regards
    RAD

No I haven't ever heard from Burt at all. Yes I did tighten the bolt to the bumper support. The movement seems to be the actual projector itself or inside of it while driving down the road.
