    ^ You'll have to be in line. . . Currently Sold Out on LS460-r

    You have Muranos already. . . Same as I

    MURANO vs FX-R

    Muranos = 5.25 Lift

    FX-R = Factory Stock Height

    * THE TRUE COLORS OF THE MURANOS ARE SEEN IN A DARKER ENVIROMENT * DID I MENTION THE MURANOS ARE WIDER? :eek:

    Question for everyone...have had my retros from @RAD in for 5 months now, but just recently drove more in the dark due to Daylight savings ending and noticed something.

    Obv, the cutoff is super clean. I noticed that it almost seems like the bulbs are 'loose' in the housing. Even slight bumps, say from cracks/tar lines, I can see the cutoff vibrate/shake. it's both headlights. if I am right behind a vehicle I can watch the cutoff shake the whole time.

    Last night I parked in front of my garage w/lights on and if I just lightly tap the housings sure enough it shakes the cutoff. I can make a video at home if that would help demonstrate.

    Anyone else have an issue? I have to assume the bulbs should be fairly locked in. I didn't ever build a retro so not even sure if it's loose bulbs per se. Could some other part be loose?

    I tried taking dust cap off and seeing how they're secured but that was worthless given the tight area with the housings installed and wiring.

    Any thoughts appreciated....

    I'd try checking the bulbs 1st and make sure your bolts that hold the headlights in are tight.

    Someone with more knowledge can correct me if I'm wrong but they may be flickering. That could be faulty bulbs and/or ballasts. But since you can make the problem happen by tapping on the headlight it's probably a bulb issue. Maybe order another pair of bulbs from the retrofit source and try those?

    Carefully open the rear rubber boot area and make sure that the bulbs are seeded flat. If you need to swap the bulbs from one side to the other, try that. When putting the rubber boot back on. Make sure it's 100% seeded flat back in. If you don't place it perfectly, water can seep in. we surely don't want that.

    I had to do that with my set of Muranos. One side seemed as if there was slight play. I had to make a small spacer to keep it flush.

    I guess I will take a closers look. it's fair to say there shouldn't be any movement of the bulb when going over bumps?

    I have confirmed all housing mounting screws are tight too.

    There shouldn't be that much movement but then again my FX-R had movement due to my lift. I realized some of my bounce had to do with how my ICON suspension rides. So that plays a difference for me and I know that. So depending on your set up, it may be that too.

    Also check that 10mm bolt located under the support bracket next to the fenders. That leg is very important.
