HAHA Ill see what I can do. I will deff try to track it down and pull off as many valuable parts as I can get (and afford) and sell them back to all you fine fellas out there. I didnt really have time or opportunity to pull much of anything off of it this moring as I said goodbye at the body shop...plus let you know where you can canabalize a fine truck if you are a local.

I had about 18K in damages 3 months after I got my truck. Sucked!:(

    They didn't total it.

    Photos are in my build.

Glad you weren't hurt. Trucks can be re-built.

I have all-state and they seem to fix anything. The first quote for the repairs to mine was between 17k and 18k. The final cost ended up being 24k. And I got the truck for 24.5k about 5 months prior. I really wish they totaled it.

Wow no way. That is crazy, usually its roughly half of the vehicle worth and what they calculate is best for them but ya maybe would have been better as a total. It all depends on what you may want and what you get for the truck you know. I ended up on the plus side so better for me I guess, just still stings about the loss.

Hell ya it stings. I still hate what I did to mine. And same kind of story on my brother's car. bought for 17k. He got in a crash original estimate was 14k and came out to just over 19K. The crash wasn't his fault, it was the other driver.

Damn thats a bummer. Ya its funny you usually hope for either a 2k fix or a total. Stuff in between for like 10 grand suuuuuucks. Your ride is never the same....

What he said and glad you're OK....and I think the POS Escort the other guy was driving should be sent to the crusher....and you get to push button (or whatever triggers the crusher. Damn shame to lose such a nice truck...hope the replacement process goes smooth.

Sorry about your truck and I'm glad you were not seriously injured. That looks like quite a hit on the Ford.
