Does anyone know off hand how much the R155f that comes behind the 2trfe weighs? I'll be installing a clutch next week and debating on buying a transmission jack. I'm a bigger guy(270 lbs) so if it's not bad I'll just press it myself. Surely not over a 150 lbs? Thanks for any input.

If you pull the transfer case off you might be able to manhandle it but I sure wouldn't want to do it like that.

I’m not the biggest or strongest guy, but it would be a pain in the ass. There just isn’t a lot of room under the truck. You have to roll the trans onto your chest with very limited space. I did attempt doing it this way and strength wasn’t my limiting issue. In the end, I used a few scrap pieces of 2x4’s to create a makeshift transmission attachment for my floor jack. It was super janky but the R155 isn’t too heavy so it worked well enough.

Edit: Btw, the A340 auto trans is pretty heavy. That smashed the crap out of me when it rolled off the floor jack before I build the janky trans attachment. I had a friend help me lift it from the ground to my workbench. But the R155 I carried by myself pretty easily.
