Definitely, wherever this takes me I’ll keep updating. There’s not a lot of info on the ol inter web about this other than “I have an 05-06 and my shit broke and Toyota fixed it”

Dropped it off this morning. The owner said he’s never seen a RA60F get stuck in gear and mine is the second one in 3 weeks in my neck of the woods. He said the last one (2010) was stuck in 3rd. Same deal the guy pulled it out of first, he had forward and backwards movements but not towards the reverse side like mine has. Bent fork was the culprit. Mine is next in line to go on his bench and should have my answer by the end of the day for what’s going on.

Hell Yeah! Trans is fixed. It’s ok inside it was stuck between two detents. It’s going to cost me a case of Rainer beers for their time. I’m pretty stoked.

I just picked it up. They said it looks good inside. Just a weird fluke deal that they have never seen. A detent got miss aligned. I didn’t get any pics because it was buttoned up before I got there.

Thanks for the updates. This does seem strange on a RA60.

Yeah, it’s surreal, transmission is still butter smooth. I haven’t had any hic ups. Worst part is I have a clutch master hydro bearing that has about 25k miles on it in there. I didn’t think my turn around time was going to be that fast so I didn’t get a new seal. I cleaned it up really nice and asked it not to fuck me before I stabbed it back together. It seemed to be in good condition, the bearing spun freely, couldn’t feel and slip in it so fingers crossed for awhile on it.

Ain't had me a "good" rainer beer in years. It's all I drank when in the PNW. Found one in a store down in my area, stale & nasty tasting.

I lived in South Florida for 18 months and I never saw it down there and had to convert to Busch Beer and red hot pork rinds.
