I am reassembling the truck after replacing a chattering throwout bearing and can't remember, or find in the FSM, where the transfer case breather bracket is supposed to be secured. It is the part pictured below hanging down between the clutch accumulator and exhaust manifold (manifold stay removed).

Looks from the location on the harness like it should go on one of the top 17mm bell housing bolts, but that does not seem right.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Seems like it would, but it is not long enough to go much farther than the top of the bell housing. I ended up just pulling the bracket off and attaching it to the wiring harness with zip ties.

It is still much higher than the actual trans breather, which is fixed to the top of the trans housing next to the shift column.

    Thanks for the reply though.
