Any of you guys who have experience, how do I stop raccoons from crapping in my front yard? They seem to have picked one spot near the house and crap there every damn night. I have tried cayenne pepper and even Roundup. They just step right on that stuff and take a big dump anyway.

Live trap with a slice of apple. If you have a place to relocate a few miles away.

I moved a couple of grumpy opossums in less than 3 nights that way.

This might be the only thing to do. There's a greenway with huge old Cyprus trees across the street and those fuckers nest up in those trees. They come out at night and have made a 'coon latrine of ours and the neighbor's front yards. They're tearing up his grass too. We have lava rock they seem to like for crapping. I called the Animal Control who said the SPCA can trap them, so I called the SPCA who said Animal Control can trap them. I see where this is going. We are 4 blocks from Golden Gate Park. That'll be a nice new location for them.

If your going with the live trap use cat food or tuna, they work the best for coon's
relocating must be miles, (think how long it takes for you walk 4 blocks) or they will be back the next nite.

Good tip. I could release them up in the Presidio or clear down Highway 280 near San Andreas Lake.

I've been reading about 'coon shit-it's dangerous stuff. They want you to wear a mask and gloves and treat it like hazardous material.

Some raccoons made a nice little shitting spot on my parents roof a few years back next to the chimney. Some moth balls kept them from coming back.

Guess that's why raccoons have masks. Mystery solved.

I'll keep this one in mind too thanks. This morning-no crap. Maybe that cayenne pepper is bugging them after all. I hope so. The first day I spread that pepper there was crap but only one turd instead of a bunch like before. today, nothing. So I will spread more. See what happens.
