Hey ya’ll, I have a reoccurring issue where my rack and pinion keeps blowing up. I take it to a mechanic and they replace it under warranty but I’m getting tired of having to pay the labor and dealing with the hassle of being with out my car for a day not to metion constanly replacing the power steering fluid in between swaps. What solutions do yall have for this issue. For reference it’s a 3.4l 4wd and I’m running 35s which I’m sure is not helping the issue.

I assume it’s blowing seals but I’m not sure what is failing on it exactly.

Why are you bringing it in, what’s the complaint? Leaking fluid, loosing steering force, slop?
