JTEKT is the oem brand, but its really hard to find 3rd party.

If I had to go Rock Auto I'd go SKP

One of the forum members here who is a professional mechanic, works on LOTS and LOTS of Toyotas in his spare time, and has worked on my truck recommended OEM only. In his experience, aftermarket is junk. I bit the bullet and bought a new OEM one. In my experience so far with replacing plenty of parts on my 200k mile Tacoma it seems OEM is always the answer unless you're opting for performance mods. Rarely will aftermarket replacement parts stand up to the quality of OEM.

3rd gen rack interchanges and easier to get Toyota reman which will save a couple bills or so (could only find 2G racks new at the time at least), P/N 44250-04041-84. Nix the -84 and that would be new 3G P/N.
