Been lurking since I got my 2021 TRD OR a few months ago. First post. So I've ordered a renegade bed cover. They aren't as popular as the diamondback covers but there are a lot of features that for me put it over the diamondback. So Renegade has their own rack system that bolts right to the top of their bed cover:

Their rack system uses these stud attachments that one can attach to the bed cover's L-tracks. Makes installing and removing the rack easy and quick:

My only problem with the Renegade rail system is that they only sell one for the Tacoma that is 10 inches tall, whereas I'd like one that goes higher so I can actually put stuff under it and so that it is as high as my cab roof rack. The rack systems I've looked at all wrap around the side of the bed like so:

So, anyone know of any rack systems that have flat feet that would just bolt-on to the Renegade bed covers? An alternative would be to just get a regular rack and then cut off part of the foot, and drill a hole for the stud attachment to go through. I can then just bolt it down to the bed cover's L-track. Not sure how wise that would be since the part of the foot that goes into the bed attaches to the side rail, which i'm sure provides a lot of stability. Not sure if that is a good idea. If anyone has any insights, that'd be appreciated. Thanks!
