Radar Detectors

So where did you guys get your V1's? Anybody installed it by the rearview mirror on the tiny dots on the winshield? Did it affect its effectiveness?

I install mine high to the left of rear view mirror. Where it sits for me, has no effect on visibility out the windshield, and it is not behind the black dots.

 

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to find it cheaper. I can't believe how many ppl bought them from Ebay knowing they are close to $20-$30 more.

 

i have a cobra esd 7400 and it goes into laser alert everytime i accelerate hard. my wife has one in her car too and it does the same thing. anyone know why?
