My reason for going radflo was the opposite haha. Just didn’t really want blue on my truck. I should have them in and on by the end of next week. I will be posting info and pics.

Are you saying option 2 with the leaf pack equals a 1/2 rake ? I read that as 2.5” rake. Also, do you have any weight up front? It looks like you are stock. I will be running 650 with a low pro bumper and winch.

2.5” rake is a lot. Not trying to insult intelligence but want to make sure we are talking about the same thing here. Rake is the difference in height from the front to back of the truck. So you are saying that the rear of your truck sits 2.5 inches higher than the front?

Correct - that is unloaded. It will have a Go fast camper on it soon so it will be an additional 350 lbs which should bring the rake down to 1 to 1.5”.

Gotcha, thanks! What did you get for lift in the front ? Sorry for all the questions, but I will have the same exact set up so I’m trying to get an idea. I went with 650s instead of 700s because I only have a little weight up front, but I’m wondering if I maybe should have gone 700.

I run Radflo 2.5” shocks on my 2014 FJ with 3” lift springs. Couldn’t be happier. I will go back to Radflo if / when it comes time to replace suspension on my Tacoma.

With regards to spring weight, I’m running 650# springs in the front with a steel bumper, winch, skids. You can feel the stiffness compared to stock, but overall still a comfortable ride. I wouldn’t even consider the 700# springs.

Have you considered ADS shocks at headstrongoffroad.com?
They have unique progressive dampening and digressive rebound. Drive nice on the street and float well doing 75mph+ in the desert or trails

I’m running 700# springs with the ADs 2.5’s and the shocks feel amazingly smooth. Keep in mind the stock coil on the TRD OR is 700#.

With 650# you will likely sag over time. It’s highly recommended to do 700# springs with any weight in the front. I’m running 135lbs in bumper and winch with sliders and the ride is very nice especially at high speed

Stiffness doesn’t come from springs so much as it comes from valving. Springs just hold the weight of the truck. I had a 590lb spring with OME shocks (considered the medium kit) and it was the stiffest damn POS setup because the shocks were valved for heavy overlanding type setups. Is went through UCA ball joints in 1 year

    Know the facts

I just adjusted the coil overs and it is now 2.5” higher than stock. Every full turn of the collar is about .25”. With the 650lb springs it feels firm but that might be more of the valving of the shocks. I haven’t gone off road but I did hit some speed humps and it absorbs them very well. No problem on the questions that’s what we are all here for - if you have any more feel free to keep asking.
