    Wow, I hope I never have to see that in person. I've had a cap blow off once and covered me in hot fluid. This would be 100x's worse. Hope the guy is ok.

    pressure must have built fast for the cap not to bleed it off!!

    There's some armchair analysis in the Reddit thread about it possibly being a leaking head gasket. I'm just surprised neither the radiator cap nor a hose blew before the radiator did.

    Pretty common with plastic top radiators and heater cores.
