Radiator Hose Life ?

    The HPS hoses have a stronger construction than OEM. Multiple braides.

    Haven't ever used the Gates hoses. If it is a multibraid, rather than a single, then they are a good investment.

    As has been pointed out, heater hoses tend to outlast radiator hoses. From 35 years DIY experience, I have ever had a heater hose rupture. I replace them if I happen to be replacing the heater core or they don't pass my visual inspection. I can only speculate heater hoses last longer because they tend to be thicker and don't go through as many hot/cold cycles as rad hoses.

    Thanks guys - I drain and fill the radiator every 30K so in view of the opinions here I'll grasp and squeeze and seriously consider at 120K. Thanks again for all your input.

    aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
    Change them out at 200K with OEM and change out the radiator at the same time.

    Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
    ive had them collapse on other brand cars when revving the engine. usually because a spring has broken inside.
