Anybody got any kind of tips or advice for this job? I'm midway through it, ready to remove& replace, and I realized that the little bugger is not only secured by like 10+bolts, it's tack welded. Sooooo any guidance would be appreciated. I've got a grinder, it's kinda difficult to get in where the welds are though. I'm not on a super tight time schedule either, I want to do this the most efficient way possible. So I decided to sit back, weigh my options, and let TW once again exponentially increase my knowledge

    Thanks, Daniel

I don't have any advice since I've never done that, but what are you trying to accomplish?

The bracket was damaged when a friend of mine drove my truck into a ditch/small tree. The damage to the bracket also resulted in my DS front fender being pushed back to the point that it is flush with my driver door. You don't want to hear the sound it made every time I opened the door. Don't let your friends drive your truck.
