Searched, but unable to find anything close. Have a 2010 with standard radio/CD. The radio display is absolutely unreadable during daylight hours (unless I turn headlights on). Is there any mod short of replacing the factory radio to get more brightness out of the display? Note: I'm an old guy but my vision is excellent!!!!! Display is just not bright enough!!!!!

when you turn the headlights on the display dims, so that doesn't make sense.... did you try turning up your cluster display? that does the stereo too I believe.

Try the dimmer switch on the dash? Although that wouldn't help you see the letters. I have trouble seeing mine with polarized sunglasses on...

Dimmer switch has no effect on radio display. Turning on headlights lights up display with different bulbs. Dimmer only affects intensity when lights are on. Agree with TacPro45 that polarized glasses make situation worse, but even without glasses display is so dim as to be unreadable.
