Bought a nice Pioneer receiver, wired up my harness color to color... but fails to turn on. The previous guy that owned the truck before me had a line output converter to run a sub. So, I cut that out and hooked the RCA cable straight to the HU... Any ideas? This is my first HU install, so any help would be awesome!

Pictures of the wiring would be of help to see how you did the install, did you take any.

Are you saying you cut the shielded RCA plug wires from the sub and did exactly what now?

What do you mean color to color? A green wire coming from an aftermarket HU doesn't necessarily correspond to a green wire in your Taco harness.

    More info?
