I’ve had my Tacoma since 2013 and have had no issues with the radio until recently. When attempting to re-pair my phone, the radio turned itself reset itself and now it will not connect to bluetooth, aux, or satellite radio. i’ve tried manually resetting the battery by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it but to no avail I still cannot get anything to work on the radio but AM or FM. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issues or can help in some way.

My 2014 audio system would random reboot, always at the worst time! Last service I mentioned it to the service manager, they did a sw update and have not had a problem since.

I can’t help you but it’s a good excuse to go buy an aftermarket unit with Apple/android CarPlay

Haha I was thinking of that also, the new car play doesn’t compare to the bluetooth functions of the stock radio anyway. Thank you!

    CHEVERLY my service dog! Lol
I did the manual update for the JBL system and can confirm that I cannot sync my contacts from my iPhone to the head unit otherwise it just reboots over and over and over.
