Radio lights too bright when lights are off

Appreciate the help, hopefully there's a more simple way, would be ideal! Haha

 

Sleeping in the vehicle while in roadtrips for the ac, late night talks with someone, or sitting and looking through the moon roof

 

I've tried that but only affects the little screen, I've tried lowering the light settings on the radio screen but it only affects that itself, not the side buttons

 

Oh nahh hahahaha, mostly sleeping in my truck while on roadtrips, late night talks with fiance, or looking through the moonroof to see the stars

 

That would be a way to test the effect you seek. Simple in that it can be removed if it doesn't achieve the goal.

 

Slow reader... haven't got to that page of the manual yet. Had the truck 4 years this week and I think I am on page 36.

 

About 35 pages further than most make it lol.

Myself, I just go to the manual online and control F. Manual is too long to actually read.
