Radio ?reset W/battery change?

    Any help? I changed my battery and factory stock radio stopped working. Is there a reset? Or is it fried? 2002 Tacoma

    Don't have a clue on yours, but I know on my wifes 99' honda accord had a radio lockout and i had to put the code in to get it to working again when I changed out the battery over the years.

    Well Iv'e seen a few posts saying your advice and how to resolve, but, where would I put a code? I can't turn radio on.

    maybe check your fuses? It should pop up a screen to say enter security code or something like that IIRC our 4runner did that.

    Thanks. Checked all fuses and they are good. When you write "it should pop up on a screen", do you mean face of the radio? Cause I'm getting nothing on radio screen, even though it worked before I changed battery.

    yeah IIRC something popped up on the radio screen. Its been quite a few years now but I know I had to contact Toyota to get the code
