No, nav wasn't available in Tacomas until the 2012 model year so the GPS antenna wouldn't be present.

Also a JBL radio will not work in a non JBL vehicle period because the JBL system uses an external amplifier so you would essentially need all the associated wiring, the amp, and sub from the donor vehicle to get it working.

Now if you could find a non JBL unit with nav you might be able to make it work but I can't say for sure.

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
Did things change with the 3rd Gen JBL-into-non-JBL-system question. Or, in other words, will a cicra 2020 to 2022 JBL head unit (minus the amp) be a plug-and-play replacement for the 2023 bare-bones head unit?

Same thing applies, JBL radios have an external amplifier and non-JBL radios have a built in amplifier. They do not interchange.

So if the volume and fader/sound adj. (ex. Bass, Treble, buttons/knob) randomly stops working. should be looking at the amp connections?
