Radio too dim with headlights on

    I have a light sensor to control that. Are you sure your settings don't just happen to be set to look the same or similar?

    Quicksand with hood protector, color matching decals on tailgate latch, mudflaps, glovebox, and tailgate hitch cover.
    Man, I have had this same problem for almost two years now since I bought my truck! It is annoying as all get out, during the day, when as the original poster did, he turns on his headlights during the day when it is raining, which is required at least, here in CA. The radio dims and you cannot see it. This is really annoying too, when you have the navigation running and then, cannot see the display because it is too dim! Wow, I am definitely going to try this next time I get into my truck. Thanks SO MUCH for this! This people, is just one of the reasons why I love this group! Totally cool!

    Ah, so it does save. I couldn't remember if I stopped bothering with it because I got tired of having to turn it on each time or if I got annoyed by being blinded when it was actually dark enough! Now I very fondly remember....
