Radio turns on and off randomly

Which power relay are you referring to?

They were internal problems. Failure rate was over 98% on the radios for a few years.
It got so bad when they said they had a radio problem I wouldn’t even bring it in the shop. I’d just order a radio.

At first glance you have a non radio issue as you have other components being affected..

 

the one for the cig lighter, the contacts were worn down from use

Mine does this in the wintertime every year when it gets really cold. I'm long overdue for a complete radio upgrade.

 

Mine is the same way.

 

I seem to be having the same issue my after market radio will turn off randomly and my watch next to the emergency light button along with it. It gets frustrating haven’t had the time to dissect it was hoping someone here would have a solution

 

Looks like yours may be the same relay that @knottyrope mentioned.
