radio update 2013 tacoma ?

Hello,new member with 2013 tacoma sport .
just bought 2 weeks ago .
bluetooth worked great until yesterday
it failed to recognize my bluetooth iphone.
youtubers suggest updating system.
on the toyota website updates for nav radio start at 2014.
short of installing a updated aftermarket setup
anyone know of a fix?

Yep, no updates for mine either. This is the best option I think.

I installed a PLZ 902W headunit in my '09 back in January of 2024. So far, I LOVE it. Look at my older posts for the updated PLZ unit. Cost, including the headunit, bezel and plug & play harnesseS is <$200.

Abandon the OEM head unit. I'm still in therapy.

 

Lots of good aftermarket head units out there. Toyotas was pretty poor honestly

I think a new head unit is in order.
