Well as an LEO, I'm just going to come out and say it. You're a dumbass and we don't want your help.

I'm not positive, but I read somewhere that if you wanted to report a crime, you could call the 911 operators. I can't remember what their number is, but it is probably in the phonebook. If there is a fire and you come bolting into the scene to try to help, welcome! And by welcome, I mean welcome to the nice free concrete hotel room you will get to visit for the night. You might even get to listen to the police radio during your free taxi ride down there.
