Just wanted to make you aware of the angle discrepancy as a courtesy since you were so good to share that cad file.

Are you kicking the sliders up at an angle from the square body bar? The guys here say that ones that stick straight out get hung up on things, that's the reason I'm angling my design up at 22 degrees

I'm not sure on the kick up yet. Since I'm still paying payments on the truck it won't be doing any serious off roading in the near future. I would like them as a suedo step to get to the roof rack.

Here is my latest iteration, Using plate between the main rails in leu of tubing. Right now I'm showing 1/4" plate for the "webs" but may wind up going thicker depending on what we have laying about in the shop.

I'm also going to revisit the webbing angles to create a truss-like angular assembly.

Pretty much neglected this truck and this post the last few years. Mainly because I got a new toy. I did swap over to Falkens MT tires, they have been a nice ride so far and wear has been better than the ATs I had.

Also grabbed a ARE side window shell off market place for $400 and had it painted to match. It needs a few locks and shocks replaced but I cant complain.

As far as the future with the truck, the sliders are almost done, they need to have some supports coped in and on to finish welding.

I have some Freedom Offroad UCAs I'm waiting to put on my truck when I get around to it. And I have a front bumper in the works. Will be a hybrid style, I bought the center section from SOS concepts and plan to have my cage builder do the rest.

5100s were busted at 50k so I swapped it up. Went from Deaver AAL and 5100s to Icon 3 leaf and 5160s and it rides so much better, no more rear end hop.

It is a bit more squatty pulling and about a inch low in the rear now. Will look at that later after I decide what to do on the front.

Put a 2nd battery in, 62AH Genesis I got for $70. Put a MMats 600.4 I had laying around and a switch panel in. Swapped all 4 doors speakers out and ran wires for them. This was about a 3 day project but glad its done. Last thing I need is to turn up the alternator charging voltage. My poor batteries only see like 13.7 max.

Bumper done, sliders are close. For sure going to have to crank up the shocks to get some height back.

~U Bolt flip kit , rear bumps, and extended brake lines.

~700lb coils for the fox 2.0s.

~Weld on DRT CMR kit thats been sitting for 3 months

~Cut fenders for prep for 35s.

~Cut and reweld on sliders, remember measure better before you weld...

Made some good progress over the last month. Was given some free 1.5 x 3 and 3 x 3 aluminum extrusion so i designed a roof and cap rack to fit it. I had to rip the 3x3 in half but it worked out fine.

35x11.5x17 Nitt...uh I mean Maxxis RAZR ATs on some RRW 6-Hs -25 offset. Got alot more trimming to do, along with cab mount relocation kit that Im too lazy to install.

Finally found me another campershell after selling the tent, really missed it and found this Leer XL for a steal $600. Its got almost every option from what I can tell.

Kinda got the itch to add a high clearance bumper lately, so back to the tubing bender

love the build. truck looks amazing. im very jealous of the long bed.

question. is that the same chrome grill that you painted? if so, how did you get the paint to stick? i painted my chrome grill about 3-4 times and it is still peeling.

I tried it a few times also and it just wasn't working at all you would have to blast the chrome or remove it chemically. When I got hit in the bedside I got a cheap surround off ebay and got the paint shop to spray it at the same time.
